Melanie Turmelle

Melanie has been dedicated to veterinary medicine since 2004 and proudly serves as our Hospital Manager. With a background as a Licensed Veterinary Technician and eight years of honorable service in the United States Army Reserve (USAR), she brings both clinical expertise and a servant leadership approach to supporting our team, our doctors, and the families we serve.

Throughout her career, Melanie has held a variety of clinical and leadership roles, giving her a deep appreciation for every member of the veterinary team. Today, she focuses on creating a positive hospital culture, mentoring staff, supporting new veterinarians, and ensuring every client and patient receives compassionate, high-quality care.

Melanie believes that clients are an essential part of their pets' healthcare journey. She is passionate about building trusting relationships through education, communication, and teamwork, helping families feel confident in the care their pets receive.

One of the most rewarding parts of her career is seeing patients recover and watching the joy it brings to the people who love them. Outside of the hospital, Melanie enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and their furry family members while camping, boating, and enjoying the outdoors.
