Dr. Mascaro was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. She received her Bachelor’s in Animal Science and Technology at Louisiana State University (Geaux Tigers!) while also working as a Veterinary Technician. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Tuskegee University College of Veterinary Medicine in Alabama. Her professional interests include internal medicine, dermatology, and surgery. In her free time, Dr. Mascaro enjoys hiking, kayaking, traveling, riding horses, and spending time with her dogs. She has 2 dogs: Senor Uno (Terrier Mix) and Satchmo (Bernese Mountain Dog); and 2 horses: Magic and Bizou who live in Louisiana.
